HR Generalist position in San Diego, CA

Responsibilities:
Assist with answering and triaging employee questions to the corporate HR team.
Primary HR contact on location, ensuring a positive work environment.
Compile payroll information, time-off requests, and other data to assist with payroll processing.
Maintain confidentiality and support with observations and investigations for employee relations concerns.
Support the onboarding and offboarding processes for new and departing employees.
Triaging corporate HR communications to ensure timely and accurate information flow.
Assist with benefits-related HR functions and administrative tasks, including filing, maintaining employee records, and workers' compensation.
Requirements:
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Proficiency in HR-related software and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience in HR functions such as payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Passion for working in a non-profit environment and supporting the organization's mission.
Additional Details:
Location: Onsite in central San Diego, CA
Duration: Contract-To-Hire, looking for someone long term!
Hours: Monday-Friday and 2 Saturdays a month; 40 hours a week
9:00am-5:30pm or 8:30am-5:00pm
Pay: $24.00-$24.95/hour starting pay.
