Job Description
Job Title: Accounting Bookkeeper
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for accuracy. The Accounting Bookkeeper will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, assist in the preparation of financial statements, and ensure compliance with accounting principles within all relevant financial regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Record daily financial transactions including account payable and accounts receivable
- Process daily & weekly bank sweeps
- Maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, ledgers, balance sheets, and income statements
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and ensuring timely payments and follow-ups
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents
- Prepare financial reports and statements for management and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, standards, and company policies
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, also with budgeting and forecasting as needed
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for management as requested
- Maintain confidential financial information with integrity and discretion
- Communicate with clients and vendors regarding financial matters and billing issues
- Support the accounting team with other administrative and financial tasks as required

Requirements:Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associates degree in Accounting or related field is preferred
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounting Clerk, and or in a similar role
- 2+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Strong knowledge and understanding of accounting principles, practices and financial statements
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quickbooks, Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of payroll processing and tax regulations is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
