As part of the Backlight team, you'll work with industry leaders to deliver transformative media asset management solutions that drive creativity, collaboration, and efficiency.
As a Solutions Architect for Iconik Media Asset Management, you will collaborate closely with Backlight's sales, technical teams, and clients to design and implement tailored solutions that align with customers' media asset management needs. This role blends media management expertise, technical acumen, and customer focus, ensuring our customers receive the highest value from Iconik.
Responsibilities
Solution Design:
Architect customized media asset management solutions using Iconik, integrating with customer environments and workflows to meet their unique requirements.
Customer Engagement:
Act as the technical liaison, understanding clients' media workflows and translating these needs into effective Iconik configurations and integrations.
Technical Expertise:
Maintain a high level of knowledge on Iconik capabilities and emerging trends in media asset management, digital asset workflows, and content collaboration.
Pre-Sales Support:
Partner with sales to provide technical consultation, conduct demonstrations, and contribute to proposal development tailored to prospective Iconik users.
Implementation Oversight:
Collaborate with engineering and product teams during the deployment phase to ensure solutions meet design specifications and client expectations.
Documentation and Training:
Develop and maintain documentation, user guides, and best practice guides specific to Iconik. Provide training and support to ensure customers' teams are empowered to use Iconik effectively.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities to enhance Iconik implementations and make recommendations for optimizing asset management workflows and processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Media Management, or a related field; Master's degree or equivalent experience is a plus.
Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or in a similar role with a focus on media asset management.
Deep understanding of Iconik Media Asset Management or similar platforms and their role in digital asset workflows.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and media storage solutions.
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Excellent problem-solving skills and experience working in collaborative environments.
Skills
Experience in video production, post-production workflows, and media asset management solutions.
Relevant certifications (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc.) or experience with APIs and integrations.
Knowledge of digital media formats, codecs, and metadata best practices.
