Responsibilities:
Team Player in an Agile team within a Release Team/Value Stream Develop and automate business solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications Technically hands-on and excellent in Design, Coding, and Testing Collectively responsible for end-to-end product quality Participates and contributes in Sprint Ceremonies Promote and develop the culture of collaboration, accountability & quality Provides technical support to team and helps resolve technical issues Closely work with Tech Lead, Onshore partners, deployment, and infrastructure teams Independently drive some of the product and pillar level initiatives Basic, structured, standard approach to work Qualifications:
A basic understanding of consuming REST services Ability to write code and unit tests Ability to collaborate with team members Ability to work with global teams and a flexible work schedule Must have excellent problem-solving skills and be customer-centric Experience with GraphQL or BFFs Experience with Microservices, CICD, Event Oriented Architectures, and Distributed Systems Experience with cloud environments (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, Azure, Amazon Web Services) Familiarity with DevOps practices, principles, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and the product development lifecycle Familiarity with modern web APIs and full stack frameworks Experience with Kubernetes and Docker Certifications Required:
AWS Certified Developer, Oracle Certified Professional Java SE, Certified React Developer Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the US without requiring employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. Applications will be accepted until 12/25/2024. The annual salary for this position is between $68,422 - $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans. Benefits:
