Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $2,244 per week

Certification Details BLS ASHA (CCC) ND license Job Details To serve the language, speech, and dysphagia needs of inpatients, outpatients, and home care patients of the hospital through assessment of communication and/or swallowing disorders, assisting the individual to communicate to the best of their abilities, assisting family and staff in communicating with the individual, developing and implementing individualized therapy programs and arranging for continued treatment after discharge if necessary. Assesses patients of all age groups (infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics), develops, plans, and implements an individualized therapy program for each patient. Assessment and treatment of: aphasia, apraxia, dysarthria, and cognitive/linguistic defects from stroke, brain tumor or trauma, traumatic brain injury patients experiencing cognitive/linguistic problems, laryngotomized patients and voice disorders, cleft palate and fluency disorders, speech and language disorders, dysphagia. Job Requirements Perform swallow assessment, video fluoroscopy, general care of all ages. ASHA (CCC) & ND license. Schedule Information 8-430 M-F, lone staff. Covers mostly OP, occasional IP coverage prn, rare HH PRN.
