Certification Details BLS ARRT Massachusetts State Radiologic Technologist license Job Details Holiday coverage is required Level 1 trauma and Siemen's experience is required Operates CT equipment to obtain diagnostic images and information according to departmental protocol Explains exam to patient considering physical and emotional needs; maintains ethical standards Delivers patient care under scope of license/training Oversees and instructs various personnel and technology students within the department Prepares the equipment room and supplies necessary for each patient and regular daily use Participates in research programs, quality assurance and quality improvement projects Rotates within department, divisions and all off-site clinics by shifts as required Uses independent judgment and initiative under pressure when performing patient exams Job Requirements Must be a graduate of an approved school of Radiologic technology Possess a current Massachusetts State Radiologic Technologist license Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) 2-3 years experience as a Radiologic technologist preferred At least one year in cross-sectional anatomy courses Schedule Information Shift coverage and overtime situations as necessary Requires on-call coverage Flexible in all shift coverage Additional Details Staff will be required to float among radiology clinics and divisions associated with BWH as needed
