Shift: days Weekend: every other Work Experience (Basic): 2 years of acute care RN experience Education (Required): Diploma or Associate Certification (Required): Registered Nurse Does RN need to know how to read tele strips? Yes Top diagnosis/procedures: Respiratory/ Renal Common equipment used: Vent, CRRT NxStage, Echo, Aritic Sun, EV1000, PCA pumps Does RN need to be able to titrate medication? Yes Common medications given: Propofol, Precedex, Fentanyl, Cardizem, Digoxin, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Amiodarone, Norephinephrine, Vasopressin, Epinephrine, Phenylephrine We are a very welcoming unit to all new travelers and senior nurses love to precept, new grads in our resident program. - Clinical Resource Nurse per shift- for both units – without patients They oversee admission/discharge/respond to Code 4/Nurse blue house wide/hold daily brief & debrief/assign staffing for oncoming shift. Patient Population: Medical ICU - Heavy respiratory patients/ Renal patients/Cardiac patient Job Requirements

Required Skills: Airway/Bipap/Airvo/Vent management Vaso/cardiac/sedation drips-titration per MAR EKG interpretation Familiar with and care of Arterial line/Central line/Femoral lines We do TTM with the Artic Sun/ CRRT with Next Stage/ IABP/ ECHO for PE IV insertion Blood draws A-line management CVP IABP Sheath removal Cardioversion/defibrillation Epicardial pacer management Procedural sedation CPAP/BiPAP Ventilators Trach Care Rapid Infuser Epidural/PCA pump Feeding tubes Continuous bladder irrigation
