Shift: nights Weekend: every other Work Experience (Basic): 2 years of acute care RN experience Work Experience (Desired): None Education (Required): Diploma or Associate Education (Desired): Certification (Required): Registered Nurse Certification (Desired): Does RN need to know how to read tele strips? Yes Top diagnosis/procedures: Respiratory/ Renal Common equipment used: Vent, CRRT NxStage, Echo, Aritic Sun, EV1000, PCA pumps Does RN need to be able to titrate medication? Yes Common medications given: Propofol, Precedex, Fentanyl, Cardizem, Digoxin, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Amiodarone, Norephinephrine, Vasopressin, Epinephrine, Phenylephrine We are a very welcoming unit to all new travelers and senior nurses love to precept, new grads in our resident program. Required Skills: Airway/Bipap/Airvo/Vent management Vaso/cardiac/sedation drips-titration per MAR EKG interpretation Familiar with and care of Arterial line/Central line/Femoral lines We do TTM with the Artic Sun/ CRRT with Next Stage/ IABP/ ECHO for PE IV insertion Blood draws A-line management CVP IABP Sheath removal Cardioversion/defibrillation Epicardial pacer management Procedural sedation CPAP/BiPAP Ventilators Trach Care Rapid Infuser Epidural/PCA pump Feeding tubes Continuous bladder irrigation Schedule Information
