Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced PingFederate SME with expertise in OAuth 2.0, Ping adapter creation, and cloud infrastructure management in AWS. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing an enterprise-level Single Sign-On (SSO) platform leveraging PingFederate, while working closely with enterprise identity teams and cloud platforms like AWS, Microsoft EntraID, and Google Cloud Directory. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex, high-severity incidents and implement cloud-native automation solutions within a cutting-edge environment.
Key Responsibilities: Analyze, enhance, and support a highly complex, enterprise-level PingFederate SSO platform hosted in an AWS cloud environment. Collaborate with enterprise identity teams managing platforms such as Microsoft EntraID, AWS Microsoft AD, and Google Cloud Domain Directory. Manage and optimize enterprise cloud infrastructures in AWS to ensure high availability and performance. Translate business requirements into scalable and secure technology solutions that meet the needs of internal customers. Lead or participate in troubleshooting and incident resolution for complex, high-severity incidents related to authentication services and cloud infrastructure. Develop automated solutions using scripts, pipelines, and serverless computing platforms to improve operational efficiency. Create and maintain detailed architecture, standards, design, and implementation documentation to support ongoing platform management. Analyze the current Authentication Services environment, identify technical and operational improvement opportunities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Participate in disaster recovery, capacity planning, performance monitoring, and maintenance activities to ensure continuous high availability of the authentication services. Required Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience working in cybersecurity or information technology roles. At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Active Directory, AWS, PingFed, PingID, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). At least 1 year of experience in cloud infrastructure management within AWS or similar cloud environments. 4+ years of experience with PingFederate in enterprise-level environments, including expertise in: Policy Management Selectors Adapters Access Token Management Adapter Configuration SAML, OpenID Connect, SSO, and API (OAuth 2.0) 5+ years of experience developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) in cloud-hosted environments using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with MNA (Multi-Network Authentication) scenarios and their application in complex cloud and enterprise environments. Familiarity with disaster recovery, capacity planning, and performance monitoring in the context of cloud-based authentication services. Experience working with other identity management solutions such as Okta, Auth0, or similar.
