The MSRB invites dedicated candidates to apply for our Associate System Developer Internship, designed to offer comprehensive exposure to multifaceted application design and development within a professional setting.

Requirements

Summary

Works as a member of a team to design and develop new applications and to support/modify existing applications in Cloud and Windows environments.

Responsibilities and Learning Objectives Gain hands-on experience in developing cutting-edge software using modern technologies and frameworks Assists with designs, codes, tests, debugs, configures, and helps document applications and database. Assists with analysis, installs, and tests upgrades of externally developed application programs. Apply MSRB standards and architecture techniques to assure delivery of efficient program logic. Assist with creating developer unit and regression tests to help validate the new code has not caused the application to regress and assist testers with identifying test cases. Find errors and validate that the code meets project specifications. Produces code which is observable and allows for problem analysis. Performs other duties as assigned. Education/Qualifications

Rising undergraduate junior currently enrolled at an accredited college/university pursuing a degree in Software Development, Data Science, Information Technology, or related field Development experience with college/club/commercial projects Understands the fundamentals of programming. Strong understanding of programming fundamentals with proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, TypeScript) or scripting language. Experience with modern web frameworks such as Next.js and TRPC is a plus. Communicates orally and in writing in a clear, concise, and professional manner. Use appropriate tone and show respect in all communication. Listen carefully to understand the message being delivered. Asks questions and actively listens to gather insight into others perspective. Ability to identify root causes of issues/problems. Effectively uses both internal and external resources to locate and gather information relevant to solving a problem. Escalates issues. Develops cooperative working relationships with others. Active listening skills.
