Are you a seasoned CNC Machinist who thrives on the cutting edge of technology? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Our company is a leading player in the Engineering industry, and we're on the lookout for a dedicated and experienced Permanent CNC Machinist to join our dynamic team. As a part of our team, you will be involved in intricate projects that require precision and expertise. You will have the chance to work on state-of-the-art equipment, with a focus on R&D Manufacturing. This role requires a minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for the following:
1. Operating and maintaining CNC machines, ensuring they are in good working order and calibrated correctly. 2. Programming CNC machines using G&M programming to create detailed and precise parts. 3. Using Mastercam software to design and produce machine parts and tools. 4. Collaborating with the R&D Manufacturing team to develop and implement new manufacturing processes. 5. Inspecting and measuring finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards. 6. Troubleshooting machine malfunctions and carrying out necessary repairs. 7. Adhering to safety protocols and procedures at all times. 8. Continually improving processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 3+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist, preferably in the Engineering industry. 2. Proficiency in Mastercam, CNC, R&D Manufacturing, and G&M programming. 3. A strong understanding of CNC machine setup and operation. 4. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair machine malfunctions. 5. High attention to detail and precision, ensuring the production of high-quality parts. 6. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. 7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 8. A proactive approach to work, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. 9. A commitment to adhere to safety protocols and procedures. 10. Relevant certification or training in CNC machining will be a plus.
