Director, Product Marketing (Research and Advisory) At EAB, our mission is to make education smarter and our communities stronger. EAB’s Research Marketing team is looking for a talented, driven, and entrepreneurial marketer to support our Research and Advisory business with a focus on our Strategic Advisory Services offering for senior leaders in the 4-Year Higher Education market. This role will partner closely with EAB’s Research and Commercial teams to develop content and strategies to increase brand awareness, create demand, drive sales, and support renewals across EAB’s Research businesses. This includes developing and curating thought leadership content such as blog posts, insight papers, and infographics; project managing presentations for webinars, events, and conferences; and sales enablement collateral. This role is based in Washington, D.C. or Richmond, Virginia. This position is posted at the Associate Director and Director level; candidates are being considered at both levels for the one current opening. Primary Responsibilities: Inflects sales by contributing to compelling marketing plans based on a deep understanding of buyer journeys and personas; develops creative solutions to challenges facing commercial teams. Creates tailored marketing programming for different priority market segments and audiences. Develops high-quality, differentiating content that helps EAB sustain and improve its competitive position. Selects best channels, messages, stories, and media for generating awareness and leads. Prioritizes project queue to maximize impact on sales funnel and new business. Develops and maintains deep understanding of EAB’s evolving Research perspective. Writes, produces, and edits effective content for various media. Leads strategic project management for marketing events such as webinars and conferences. Potential to manage 1-2 team members. Proposes and tests new channels, deliverables, formats, and ideas. Basic Qualifications: Minimum of 6-8+ years professional experience. Able to clearly and precisely express complex ideas in written and graphical form. Able to take ownership and drive projects from beginning to end. Intellectually curious, quick study, creative, attentive to detail, self-motivated. Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and Word. Willingness to travel regularly to EAB offices and events. Ideal Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to quickly gain depth of understanding in complex subject areas. Professional experience in product marketing, content strategy, or related fields. Knowledge of the U.S. higher education industry. Commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an equitable working environment. Compensation: The anticipated starting salary range for this role is $88,000 - $115,000 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include relevant experience, skills, and location.
