Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

(CFO) to provide executive financial leadership across the health system. As a strong executive partner to the CEO and leadership team, the CFO will collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement financial strategies that will enhance Tower Health’s mission and ensure its continued impact within the communities it serves. Key Responsibilities: Directs Tower Health's financial planning and financial operations. Maintains positive relationships with key internal and external constituents. Interacts with management and staff in developing strategic plans to include the financial planning component. Collaborates with each hospital's finance and ancillary departments. Develops and implements financial policies and procedures and ensures compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. Oversees financial due diligence process related to any physician network mergers or acquisitions, ensuring informed decision-making and alignment with strategic goals. Directs budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, purchasing, long-range forecasting, and insurance activities for the organization. Evaluates the organization's financial position and issues regular reports on the organization's financial stability, liquidity, and growth. Assures implementation of internal controls and generally accepted accounting procedures. Educates staff on financial management principles. Supervises the analysis of costs and makes rate recommendations to ensure appropriate income/cash flow. Oversees and directs the preparation and issuance of the organization's annual tax and other reports. Prepares and presents financial results to the Board of Directors, if applicable, and other key groups. Provides strategic leadership and fosters high level performance in the delivery of healthcare. Works with corporate constituents and hospital leadership to maintain an organized system of management and controls that ensure smooth function of hospital/health system operations. Works with the CEO and the Corporate Planning department to develop strategic plans for the hospitals that ensure top performance and fosters market and program growth that aligns with the organization's strategy. Provides input into payor relations strategies and agreements. Utilizes financial and analytical skills to lead, monitor, and take actions that ensure the hospital’s financial stability and long-term success. Ensures each hospital is appropriately resourced from a capital and labor perspective. Works with the hospital board of trustees in the delivery of established goals. Informs and advises the board of trustees on matters that influence and impact hospital performance. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have: Experience in a financial leadership position in an adult hospital or health system. Strong healthcare revenue cycle and managed care experience are critical to success in this role.
