Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training to effectively perform a variety of assembly tasks, ensuring that all parts and assemblies meet quality requirements. This role involves working with blueprints and specifications, conducting assembly operations, and supporting the manufacturing process.

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training to effectively perform a variety of assembly tasks, ensuring that all parts and assemblies meet quality requirements. This role involves working with blueprints and specifications, conducting assembly operations, and supporting the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders to assemble and install parts and assemblies according to quality standards.
- Complete necessary data gathering transactions to facilitate assembly progression.
- Set up and execute all manual and automated assembly operations, as well as portable machine functions.
- Conduct required pickups, reworks, fabrications, and functional testing during and after assembly.
- Move and obtain the correct parts, materials, tools, and assemblies.
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate work assignments.
- Report and investigate job-related issues, including errors in parts, procedures, tools, and sequences.
- Perform routine minor machine maintenance, such as replacing filters and maintaining lubrication levels.
- Move products within the immediate manufacturing area and complete necessary transactions for progression to the next operation.
- Support continuous product flow by training and assisting employees of all classification levels.
- Document discrepancies according to specifications, processes, and procedures.
- Cross-train in inspection processes and become SIA qualified.
- Occasionally complete other duties as required by Client leadership, with training and certification provided as needed.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electronic measurement tools.
- Proven ability to perform general assembly functions, including drilling, sealing, inserting fasteners, varnishing, painting, countersinking, and assembling sub-assemblies.
- Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with blueprints and quality assurance processes.
- Training and certification for specific tasks will be provided as required.
