Job Description:
The ARPA Compliance Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that the organization's use of funds under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) complies with all federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines. This role involves monitoring, auditing, and reporting on ARPA-funded programs and projects to ensure adherence to compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Compliance Monitoring: Track and analyze ARPA-related expenditures and activities to ensure adherence to federal guidelines and organizational policies.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed compliance reports and documentation for internal stakeholders and external agencies, including auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Audits and Reviews: Conduct regular audits and reviews of ARPA-funded projects to identify and address potential compliance issues.
  • Policy Development: Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to ARPA compliance.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to staff and program managers on ARPA compliance requirements and best practices.
  • Risk Management: Identify compliance risks and recommend corrective actions to mitigate potential issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records of compliance activities, including communications, approvals, and financial transactions.
  • Liaison: Act as a liaison between the organization and funding agencies to address compliance inquiries and issues.
Qualifications:
  • Must have experience in compliance, auditing, or financial analysis, preferably with experience related to federal grants or public funding with prior experience with ARPA funding or similar federal funding programs is highly desirable.
  • In-depth understanding of ARPA guidelines and regulations, as well as federal and state grant management principles.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret complex regulations and policies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including grant writing experience, with the ability to convey compliance-related information clearly to diverse audiences.
