As a Production Prototype Animator , you will be an integral part of the Brand Design Studio team within the Experience Product team. This role blends advanced Figma design expertise with a sound foundation in animation and storytelling. You will help shape the visual and emotional impact of our products by crafting interactive prototypes, enhancing our demos and executive presentations, and bringing compelling narratives to life through motion design.
Working closely with designers, product leaders, brand, and marketing teams, you will thrive in a production studio environment, contributing to the design solutions and systems that define and elevate our brand. Your ability to craft seamless animations and interactive experiences will amplify our products’ impact and ensure a cohesive, engaging user experience across platforms.

Design & Prototyping: Create high-fidelity prototypes and interactive design systems using Figma’s advanced animation and interaction tools.

Collaboration: Work with designers, product managers, brand, and marketing leaders to define and implement innovative animation strategies that elevate our brand and product communication.

Animation & Motion Design: Craft smooth, engaging animations that enhance user experiences and convey product functionality.

Production Workflow: Collaborate with product designers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure design consistency and production efficiency.

Studio-Ready Outputs: Prepare and optimize designs for production, ensuring deliverables are pixel-perfect and adhere to project timelines.

Innovation: Push the boundaries of Figma’s capabilities to explore new interaction paradigms and animation techniques.

Feedback Integration: Iterate on designs based on user feedback, testing data, and team input to continuously improve quality.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
8+ years of experience in lead Product Design role with a focus on innovation or relevant design experience

Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced production studio environment, balancing multiple projects and deadlines
-
Strong ability to start, drive, and deliver on projects while managing timelines
-
Ability to collaborate with executive leadership, multidisciplinary teams and lead with transparency
-
Experience in marketing and product work with a rich portfolio including digital, print, interactive, website/mobile design, motion, and video
-
Expert in advanced Figma design and presentations, along with expertise in their interaction and animation tools, with a proven track record of creating advanced prototypes.

Experience in editing, animation and compositing with AEUX, After Effects and Premiere Pro

Experience creating and maintaining systems and production pipelines
-
Understanding of video production and industry-standard video production deliverables.

History in adapting to multiple various roles in a creative field.

Obsessive attention to detail, ensuring pixel-perfect execution and production-quality deliverables.

Strong understanding of software product design, user experience (UX), and user interface (UI) principles.
Basic Qualifications:

BA or BFA degree or higher in Art, Graphic Design, Design Communication, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent combination of education and experience specializing in visual design for digital products

Expert knowledge with digital creative software tools (Adobe Creative Suite and Figma)
-
Experience in user experience design or industry experience (corporate, software, web or agency)

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $142,700 - $249,800, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
