As aDental Assistant you will:+ Prepares, sterilizes, disinfects, and maintains dental equipment, instruments, and supplies.+ Collects and records patient health historiesand x-rays.+ Ensures patient comfort during dental procedures.+ Prepares dental materials (cements, amalgam, composite, impression materials, etc.).+ Completes charting of treatment information in the patients' dental notes from the doctor as directed.+ Assist doctor in management of medical and dental emergencies.+ Clean and polish removable devices.+ Delivers postoperative and general oral care instructions to patient.+ Maintains infection control procedures, patient privacy, and professional interactions with patients and staff.+ Assist administrative team with customer service functions.Education and Experience:+ High school diploma or equivalent.+ Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting Program or1 year of dental assistant experience preferred.+ Previous customer service or office experience.+ Proficiency or the ability to become proficient within 90 days indental terminology and dental. software for charting, treatment planning, clinical notes, etc.+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.+ Foster a positive attitude and be a team player.Hours:Monday 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.Tuesday 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.Wednesday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.Thursday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.Powered by JazzHR
