Preferred Qualifications Position Summary The primary responsibility of the Phlebotomist is collecting and processing blood samples and collecting bio-marker data (e.g., blood pressure, height, weight, hip/waist measures). Other duties include obtaining informed consent, administering surveys, distributing participant incentives, and completing all visit paperwork. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies Certification as a phlebotomist.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to implement procedures in compliance with research protocols.
Demonstrate basic word processing and data entry skills.
Exceptional organizational skills. Physical Demands Sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, lifting up to 20 lbs and carrying up to 25lbs.
