We are offering an opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join our team at a reputable education institution located in Detroit, Michigan. In this role, you will provide key administrative support, handling a variety of tasks, including managing schedules, coordinating conferences, and maintaining records.
Responsibilities:
• Support administrative tasks such as managing schedules and making travel arrangements.
• Coordinate and set up conferences, ensuring all necessary arrangements are taken care of.
• Accurately maintain records and manage data entry tasks.
• Proficiently use PowerPoint, Word, and Excel to perform various tasks.
• Handle customer queries and resolve them efficiently.
• Compose and manage correspondence via email.
• Assist in basic office tasks including copying and organizing documents.
• Set up and clean up conference rooms as per requirement.
• Utilize color codes for efficient organization and management.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when needed.• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
• Effective email communication skills
• Ability to compose detail oriented correspondence
• Familiarity with color coding systems
• Experience in setting up and cleaning up conference rooms
• Skilled in operating office equipment, specifically for copying tasks
• Previous experience as an administrative assistant is preferred
• Must possess basic office skills
• Ability to perform data entry tasks, both alphanumeric and otherwise
