Accounts Payable Administrative Assistant
Location: Chula Vista, CA

Job Description:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Administrative Assistant to join our client’s team in Chula Vista. The ideal candidate will support our accounts payable department by managing and processing invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies

  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments

  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies

  • Maintain vendor files and manage vendor communications

  • Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting

  • Provide administrative support to the finance team, including filing, data entry, and document management


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a similar role

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


Working Hours:

  • 40 hours per week

  • Full-time

  • Onsite

  • Monday - Friday

  • 7:00am-3:30pm PST


Details:

  • Located in Chula Vista, San Diego

  • Contract to hire role 

  • Compensation: $20.00 per hour
