This position supports the Corporate Strategic Sourcing and Procurement team and venues by analyzing and evaluating potential suppliers, preparing reports about monthly supply costs, and negotiating contracts. With good critical thinking and analytical skills, the procurement analyst will use quantitative methods to support fact-based decision-making to ensure cost-efficiency and high quality of the products and services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Create, manage and analyze reporting tools like PowerBI.
+ Spend and invoice analysis and dashboarding within Spend tools.
+ Analysis of spend and vendor data and creation of dashboards and PowerPoint charts to summarize the analysis for decision making.
+ Minimize production shortages through buying data analyzing needs and tactical review of demand.
+ Determining supply needs through data analysis and researching potential suppliers.
+ Support a software implementation process and provide training for the company's eProcurement tools.
+ Preparing cost-benefit analysis reports for review by managers.
+ Manage the Procurement SharePoint site and Supplier sites to improve accessibility to critical procurement data.
+ Manage supplier performance, KPIs and maintain interface at all levels of supplier organizations.
+ Accountable for policy and compliance management. Ensure that the sourcing process is consistent with the necessary regulatory and legal requirements.
+ Administrate portions of the Procure to Pay process.
+ Research and resolve data issues that may arise during the Procure to Pay process.
+ Process procurement support requests and manage the Procurement email box.
+ Act as a SME for Procurement tools.
+ Support Procurement team in Category Strategy development,
+ Manage supplier databases and reporting for accurate price and commodity disposition status.
+ Manage suppliers (KPI's) to deliver target cost, service and quality levels in each operating center.
+ Acting as a liaison and communicating pricing and performance needs to vendors and suppliers.
+ Documenting processes and generating monthly supply cost reports.
+ Support pricing uploads into eProcurement tools for catalogs and punchouts.
+ Work closely with ASM Global venues to ensure stability and cost effectiveness of supply.
+ Work closely with Finance and Operations in developing and analyzing cross-functional reports.
+ Cost savings tracking and reporting, QBR and communications management
+ Monitor, communicate, and respond to changing market conditions and business drivers on a global basis to maximize leverage and minimize risk.
+ Support and manage intern's work schedules.
Education and/or Experience
+ B.S. Degree in Supply Chain, finance, math, statistics, computer science, business administration, or accounting or relevant career experience is required
+ 3+ years as a data analyst or data engineer
+ Strong data analytics capabilities, including proficiency in Excel-based analytics such as pivot tables and other advanced functions.
+ Proficiency in preparing and delivering presentations to senior management stakeholders.
+ Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience or other eProcurement tool experience required
+ Comfortable working independently and across multiple teams (technical and non-technical)
+ SQL experience preferred. Must have the ability to write complex, highly optimized queries across large volumes of data
+ 3+ years of experience in a report development, data science, business analytics, business intelligence or comparable data engineering role, including data warehousing and business intelligence tools, techniques and technology
