Pay range: $22.00 - $27.00 an hour - Depending on Experience

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Audits and processes all New Hire paperwork, ensuring that all forms are complete, accurate and approved prior to the applicant starting work, including the pre-employment drug test and criminal background check.
- Update the HRIS system with new hires, pay changes, transfers, etc.
- Conducts all post-hire I-9 checks using the Homeland Security E-Verify program.
- Responsible for processing all verifications of employment based on information in the HRIS system.
- Manage the Step Rate program: the wage administration and appraisal system of hourly employees across the company.
- Maintain the Personnel Requisition files, update and publish the weekly job posting (also posted on the Odom website and OdomNet intranet).
- Updates monthly headcount report.
- Audits all of the insurance bills and drug test bills, reviewing for billing accuracy, codes, and advances for payment. Resolves discrepancies with carriers, payroll, and the company.
- Maintains accurate records of DOT licenses and Medical Certificates by tracking expiration dates of reminding supervisors.
- Administers the Service Awards program and orders all brochures and pins in the fall for the distribution to eligible employees.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.
- Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization and the general public.
