Johnson Block and Company has seasonal employment opportunities available in our Mineral Point office. This is a great opportunity for an individual looking to make extra money for a few weeks following the holiday season.


Position Description:

You’re reliable, efficient, have high attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. In this role you will assemble client tax returns, answer and direct phone calls with professionalism, and take messages as needed.


Hours: This position is scheduled to work up to 40 hours/week Monday through Saturday from February 1st through April 15th for full-time. Part-time would work between 20-30 hours/week Monday through Saturday from February 1st through April 15th. Ideally, we’re looking for one full-time and one part-time individual.

Major Responsibilities Include:

• Answer the phone in a professional manner, directing calls to the person requested by caller or that person's designee

• Greet all visitors in a cordial and professional manner

• Assist in compiling and mailing of tax returns

• Provide general administrative support to Partners and other staff

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements:

Education / Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent degree


Other Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent team skills, positive attitude and high ethical standards.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and attention to detail skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline driven environment.

• Commitment to quality and the timely completion of work.

• Previous experience in Microsoft Office.
