Job Description
The Warehouse Manager supervises the administration and performance of all commissary activities, cross-functional workers, and clerks on his/her shift. Reports to the Assistant General Manager with significant interface with the General Manager, Office Manager, Client, and Vendors.
COMPENSATION: The salary for this position is $62,000.00 to $65,000.00, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
If hired, the employee will be in an 'at-will position' and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Job Responsibilities
- Coordinates the activities of the commissary to ensure a smooth flow of food and supplies to Amtrak trains.
- Responsible for requisitions, product tracking, temperature control, rotation and dating of product, inventories, and quality control.
- Establishes and maintains work methods and practices to ensure the PAR's are assembled in accordance with Amtrak's specifications and delivered to each car on time.
- Gathers, records, and generates reports that reflect improvements in commissary productivity and service quality on his/her shift.
- Ensures that the commissary facilities and Amtrak's equipment are properly used, secured, and maintained.
- Enforces commissary, regional and corporate security, safety and sanitation policies.
- Supervises the activities of each cross-functional worker during their shift.
- Maintains controls of all the commissary's costs including food, labor, equipment, materials, supplies, repairs, and any other related costs on his/her shift.
Long Description
- Schedule workforce to perform functions with minimal overtime; to include actively participating in the performance of warehouse functions.
- Plans and executes training of warehouse staff.
- Plans and conducts daily shift briefings.
- Participates in monthly staff meetings.
- Maintain an accurate physical inventory; to include working with office staff to resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Prepares and conducts performance reviews for warehouse staff.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of an Associates Degree in Business/Operations/Management.
- Industry background to include vending, food service, route distribution (e.g., uniform distribution or customer products), retail.
- Functional background to include route driving.
- Must be customer focused and detail-oriented.
