The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for various duties such as packing, filling, shipping, pre-kitting and ice runs.
This position is part of the Operations department in Bellmore, NY and will be located Onsite..
You will be part of the Warehouse team and report directly to the Operations Manager. If you thrive in a hands-on role in a dynamic atmosphere and want to work to empower the evolution of modern medicine-read on.
In this role, you will have to opportunity to:
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming shipments
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Utilize warehouse management system (WMS) to track inventory and manage orders
- Operate RF scanners to locate and retrieve products
- Safely operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers
- Load and unload trucks using proper lifting techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Perform regular inventory counts to ensure accuracy
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Experience operating RF scanners for inventory tracking
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Previous experience as a Warehouse Associate or similar role preferred
- Valid forklift certification is a plus
