Main Responsibilities Include:
Operations Management
Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping.
Implement and maintain efficient warehouse processes and procedures to optimise productivity and accuracy.
Leadership
Recruit, train, and supervise warehouse staff.
Develop and motivate the team to achieve performance targets and maintain high morale.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
Inventory Control
Work in conjunction with the Inventory Manager/Team to monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records.
Conduct regular stock takes and audits.
Implement and manage inventory control systems to minimise discrepancies and losses.
Operations Excellence
Identify and embed opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Utilise and embed operational excellence practices (5S, Lean, SQDC etc) to drive and maintain a culture of Operational Excellence.
Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance warehouse operations.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure all orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped to meet client specifications, and deadlines.
Lead operations in accordance with SLAs and KPIs, while identifying, implementing and embedding processes to improve performance.
Implement quality control measures and procedures to maintain high service standards.
Address and resolve any operational issues or discrepancies promptly.
Conduct regular safety audits and briefing sessions.
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Apply and embed all Fidelity standards and guidelines on health and safety within their work and broader team.

Experience in operations management within a complex warehouse/fulfilment business
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management and logistics
