Summary
We are looking for a Restoration Warehouse Manager who is mechanically inclined and can assist with maintaining our Equipment and Vehicle Fleet. Besides supervising staff, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for material and equipment-related distribution procedures.
Primary Responsibilities
Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing programs.
Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciling with data storage systems.
Maintains physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing a cleaning schedule.
Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, and analyzing variances.
Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling time appropriately.
Improves staff performance by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
Education and Experience Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
State drivers license with satisfactory DMV driving record
Minimum of 2 years as a warehouse manager
Experience operating a forklift
Qualifications and Skills
Ability to effectively prioritize and delegate work
Proficient with computers and knowledge of general software and applications
Effective oral and written communication skills
Strong leadership and management skills
Understanding of safety rules
Mechanically inclined
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
Walking and/or standing throughout the day
Exposed to high noise levels in the warehouse
Occasionally climbing ladders
Occasionally exposed to extreme conditions such as heat or cold
Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours, and Travel Requirements
This is a full-time position, working 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m., MondayFriday, 40 hours per week. This position frequently requires long hours (beyond 8 hours a day), working on-call, and weekend work. Travel is required and is primarily local.
