We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the Oil & Gas - Pipeline industry for an adept Receptionist in Houston, Texas, 77002, United States. As a Receptionist, you will be at the forefront of our operations, ensuring a smooth workflow and a welcoming environment for our guests.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure a well-maintained and stocked kitchen area
• Handle the operation of the telephone system, including answering inbound calls
• Welcome and direct guests upon their arrival at the office
• Maintain the reception area, ensuring a clean and organized workspace
• Carry out general receptionist duties, including managing incoming and outgoing correspondence and maintaining visitor logs.• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Receptionist or similar role
• Proven experience in the Oil & Gas - Pipeline industry
• Proficiency in managing and answering inbound calls
• Demonstrated ability to direct guests appropriately within a corporate setting
• Comprehensive understanding and execution of general receptionist duties
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures
• Familiarity with office equipment such as printers, fax machines, and photocopiers
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional qualifications in Office Administration are a plus.
