We are seeking a skilled Receptionist to join our team in the insurance industry. The role is based in Carmel, Indiana, and offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our company, handling a variety of front desk duties including answering phones, greeting guests, and managing mail. Your key responsibilities will be:


• Welcoming guests and directing them as needed

• Managing incoming calls on a switchboard with 1-10 lines

• Handling incoming mail and distributing it within the office

• Ensuring data entry tasks are completed accurately and promptly

• Maintaining an organized filing system for easy document access

• Preparing envelopes for mailing, including stuffing and sealing

• Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in a receptionist role, preferably within the health insurance industry.
• Proficiency in managing switchboards and handling phone lines, with experience in managing 1-10 lines.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in the use of computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in data entry and administrative tasks.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Knowledge of health insurance industry practices and regulations is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, responding promptly to inquiries and requests.
• Reliability and punctuality, with a commitment to regular attendance.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Willingness to continue learning and improving skills relevant to the role.
