We are looking for a Medical Receptionist to become a part of our healthcare team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the initial contact for our patients and visitors, both in person and over the phone. The role also involves managing the providers' schedules, facilitating office routines, and handling patient information using the EPIC medical records system. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as a welcoming presence for patients and visitors, offering detail oriented and courteous interaction.
• Coordinate services to ensure the smooth running of daily office routines.
• Use the EPIC medical records system to update and maintain patient records.
• Manage the patient check-in and check-out process efficiently.
• Handle the scheduling of patient appointments and maintain provider schedules.
• Undertake data entry tasks, including inputting patient information and billing data.• Demonstrated experience in answering inbound calls, ensuring accurate information is provided and messages are relayed promptly to the respective parties.
• Proficiency in managing tasks in a medical office environment, including patient scheduling, record keeping, and coordinating with medical staff.
• Strong understanding and experience of receptionist duties, such as greeting patients, handling inquiries, and maintaining a clean and welcoming reception area.
