Glen Park Senior Living is seeking a professional, friendly, and versatile Receptionist to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to expand into Medication Technician responsibilities, creating a full-time, dynamic position for candidates with relevant experience.

Job Summary
As the Receptionist, you will manage front office operations, greet clients and visitors, handle phone calls, and ensure the safety and security of our residents. Additionally, candidates with Medication Technician and Caregiver experience can take on expanded responsibilities, supporting residents' healthcare and daily living needs to enhance their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities – Receptionist

  • Client and Visitor Relations: Greet clients, visitors, and guests, determine the purpose of their visit, and direct or escort them to the appropriate location.
  • Phone Reception: Answer, screen, and direct phone calls; take messages and schedule appointments as needed.
  • Security Monitoring: Monitor the visual security system and audio security doors to ensure resident safety and prevent elopement risks.
  • Office Administration: Manage front office operations, ensuring smooth daily functionality.
  • Personnel Records Management: Maintain accurate personnel records and documentation in compliance with Title 22, Title 17, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities – Medication Technician

  • Administer medications as prescribed, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor residents for medication side effects or reactions, reporting any concerns promptly.
  • Maintain inventory and proper storage of medications.
  • Assist in coordinating with healthcare providers and supporting residents during medical visits.

What We Require

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an administrative, caregiving, or medication technician role. Experience in senior living or healthcare is highly preferred.
  • Skills: Compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to manage diverse responsibilities. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.
  • Certifications: Current first aid and CPR certification required; medication administration certification is a plus. Background check as required by Title 22, Title 17, and company policies.

Schedule

  • Flexible shifts available for Medication Technician, and/or Caregiver role.
  • Receptionist - Friday and Saturday - 6am to 11am Sunday 7:30-AM 11:30AM
