Job Description

We are seeking an energetic, customer service-oriented professional to create a positive first and last impression of our campus for our students, employees, and visitors. This is a full time position, and as the Receptionist is responsible for answering and routing all incoming phone calls, greeting all visitors and answering inquiries, assisting with the ordering of office supplies, sorting incoming mail, gathering and tracking documents required for student files, and tracking Admissions phone leads and entering new leads into CampusVue. Additionally, this position will assist various campus departments with projects that include some minor accounting and collections functions as needed.

The campus is open 6-days per week and the position may require variable hours, to include day, evening, and Saturday hours.

  • Prior experience in a fast-paced office providing front desk, administrative, clerical experience required
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of the use of various general office equipment, including but not limited to multiline phone system, copier, postage machine, fax machine, etc
  • High school diploma
  • Prior collections experience is highly desired
  • Accounts Payable/Account Receive and/or general accounting experience
  • Possesses customer service oriented, upbeat, can-do attitude and is a team player
  • Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor and represent the company in a professional manner with all customers, personnel, vendors and students
