Equipment Operator at Boundary County in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, United States Job Description Equipment Operator Position# SW03 Department Solid Waste Starting wage $21.23 Typical work hours 40 hours per week,some overtime may berequired. Job Summary Under general supervision of the Supervisor or Landfill Foreman or Supervisor, operates and maintains a variety of complex heavy equipment, machinery and tools used for maintenance, construction and repair of boxes and box sites. Performs all work and duties required to maintain a safe, productive department. FULL TIME WITH BENEFITS. Typical shift, 7:30 A.M to 6:00 P.M. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED High School diploma or equivalent. Must possess and maintain a valid Idaho Commercial Driver's License Class B; may require Class B and Class N endorsement. Minimum of two years related experience required. Prefer landfill operation experience. Must have heavy equipment operator experience.
