Minimum qualifications:

  1. Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  2. 6 years of experience working in hardware systems design, or 5 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  3. 3 years of experience in technical leadership.

Preferred qualifications:

  1. PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  2. 10 years of experience with hardware, design and bring-up.
  3. 3 years of experience in technical leadership or management.
  4. Experience in PCIe Gen3+, DDR4+, and signal integrity.

As a Staff Hardware Engineer, you will work on Machine Learning/AI hardware systems projects to craft solutions for current and future data center deployments. You will collaborate with Product teams to ensure that goals are met with systems and will work with ASIC/FPGA, Software, and Verification teams to ensure proper verification of features. You will also work with manufacturing teams to ensure that designs are manufacturable and ready for volume production, and with field teams to support systems deployed in the data center.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities:

  1. Gather system requirements, define architecture, execute hardware design, and product validation.
  2. Lead the bring up, validation, NPI, deployment, and sustaining of hardware solutions.
  3. Work cross-functionally with Hardware, Software, Mechanical, Thermal, Validation, Manufacturing, and external vendors.
  4. Drive system development from concept through production.
  5. Lead debug and root cause analysis of deployed systems.
