Local Massage school seeking a passionate and goal-oriented Recruiter to help us connect with prospective students who are eager to join our community and start their journey toward becoming skilled massage therapists.  We pride ourselves on offering a hands-on, personalized learning experience that empowers students to build successful careers in the wellness industry. 

Responsibilities 

The Recruiter will play a critical role in driving the enrollment process by proactively identifying, engaging, and enrolling prospective students into our massage therapy programs. This position requires a self-motivated individual who thrives in a results-driven environment and is excited to represent our school to potential students. You’ll be responsible for developing recruitment strategies, attending events, and building relationships to ensure that our programs attract a diverse and talented student body.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation & Outreach: Source, identify, and engage with potential students through various channels including phone calls, emails, social media, networking, and attending career fairs or community events.

  • Prospective Student Engagement: Conduct one on ones to assess prospective students’ needs, career goals, and educational interests, and explain the benefits of enrolling in our massage therapy programs.

  • Admissions Support: Assist prospective students throughout the enrollment process, including answering questions, providing program details, and guiding them through application and financial aid procedures.

  • Networking & Community Engagement: Build relationships with local wellness centers, spas, healthcare facilities, and other organizations to increase brand awareness and generate new leads.

  • Event Promotion: Represent the school at career fairs, wellness expos, high school career days, and other community events to generate interest in our programs and drive enrollment.

  • Recruitment Strategy Development: Collaborate with the admissions team to create and implement recruitment strategies that align with enrollment goals and target key demographics.

  • Follow-Up & Relationship Building: Maintain ongoing communication with prospective students, follow up on leads, and ensure they have the information needed to make an informed decision.

  • Reporting & Tracking: Keep detailed records of recruitment activities, interactions with prospective students, and conversion rates. Report on recruitment progress to leadership.

Required Skills Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in recruitment, sales, or customer service, preferably in an education, wellness, or healthcare setting.

  • Skills:

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    • Ability to engage and inspire prospective students.

    • Skilled in relationship-building and networking.

    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with CRM tools.

    • Familiarity with social media platforms for professional outreach.
