Position: HR Assistant
Location: Tigard, OR (Fully Onsite)
Duration: January 6th - July 31st (Covering a Leave)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay: $24-$27 per hour
Job Overview:
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a local company in Tigard, OR, to find an HR Assistant to cover a leave of absence. This role provides general HR support to the team and will be responsible for assisting with various HR functions to ensure smooth operations during the temporary period.
Responsibilities:
Employee Support:
Assist in handling employee inquiries related to benefits, payroll, and HR policies.
Maintain employee records and ensure they are up to date in the HR system.
Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing documents and assisting with orientation.
Administrative Tasks:
Prepare and process HR-related paperwork, including new hire forms, benefits enrollment, and compliance documents.
Organize and maintain employee files, ensuring all records are complete and confidential.
Assist with scheduling interviews and coordinating meetings for the HR team.
Recruitment Assistance:
Post job openings and assist with candidate screening.
Coordinate interview logistics and communicate with candidates.
Compliance & Reporting:
Assist with tracking and reporting on employee attendance, leave, and other HR metrics.
Ensure all HR processes are compliant with company policies and legal requirements.
Requirements:
1-2 years of experience in an HR or administrative support role.
Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent is required; HR-related certifications a plus.
Pay Details: $24.00 to $27.00 per hour
