We are in search of a HR Generalist to join our workforce located in South Gate, California. This role involves a range of functions in the Human Resources department, including recruitment, employee relations, and payroll administration. This opportunity offers a long term contract employment.

Responsibilities
• Leading full-cycle recruitment efforts, encompassing job advertisement, candidate sourcing, resume screening, conducting interviews, and proposing hiring decisions.
• Acting as the primary point for employee inquiries, concerns, and resolving conflicts.
• Overseeing the accurate and timely processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Staying updated with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and ensuring company policies and procedures are compliant.
• Collaborating with finance and accounting teams for accurate reporting and budget management.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives.
• Assisting in the creation and delivery of training programs on various HR topics.
• Conducting regular audits of HR processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure consistency and fairness.
• Supporting employee development initiatives, including performance evaluations and career development plans.• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
• Proven experience as an HR Generalist, demonstrating comprehensive understanding of all HR functions.
• Proficiency in using Paylocity software for HR management tasks.
• Strong knowledge of labor legislation and payroll processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate HR policies and procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent organizational skills, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Demonstrated experience in conflict resolution and employee management.
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to staying current with industry trends and advancements through continuous learning and development.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on creating ideas to improve HR policies and standards.
