Robert Half Perm is partnering with a growing company in South County to expand their HR Department by hiring a Human Resource Generalist to support the Direct of Human Resources. The Human Resource Generalist will primarily be handling employee relations, labor relations, performance management and recruiting. The Human Resource Generalist will be needing 5 plus years in a manufacturing environment primarily in a union environment. The HR department does work a hybrid model. You will have the opportunity to learn every position within the department. That is their goal-cross training. This is an important position reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources for a busy plant. The HR Generalist must be degreed. They will also have an opportunity for promotion if they are meeting all their KPI's. The annual salary for the Human Resource Generalist will be up to 881K.They have a rich benefit package. Responsibilities:


• Handle various employee relations matters, ensuring a positive work environment

• Manage labor relations, working primarily in a unionized setting

• Oversee performance management, providing constructive feedback and implementing necessary changes

• Lead recruitment efforts, sourcing and interviewing potential candidates

• Administer HR-related tasks and maintain accurate records

• Actively participate in cross-training to understand all positions within the department

• Monitor and manage employee recognition programs

• Conduct investigations related to employee relations when required

• Report directly to the Director of Human Resources, assisting in key HR tasks

• Strive towards meeting key performance indicators, with opportunities for advancement.

• Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of Human Resources or a related area.

• Proficiency in aspects of Human Resources (HR) Administration is a key requirement for this position.

• The candidate should have considerable experience in managing Employee Relations.

• An integral part of this role involves Employee Recognition; therefore, applicants must have experience in this area.

• Experience in conducting Employee Relations Investigations is necessary for this position.

• The role requires a strong understanding of Labor Employee Relations; applicants must demonstrate their proficiency in this area.
