Overview: We are seeking a highly polished and strategic HR Director to lead and elevate our Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in HR leadership, with specific expertise in navigating company acquisitions, employee retention, and succession planning. This role is highly hands-on, requiring an exceptional communicator and leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will work closely with private equity (PE) partners to align HR initiatives with company objectives while promoting a "work hard, play hard" culture.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven success in acquisition integration and succession planning.
- Extensive knowledge of HR laws (multi-state), payroll systems (ADP), and HR legal processes.
- Experience working with private equity-owned companies highly preferred.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present confidently to PE partners.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Track record of long-term tenure and growth within organizations (no job-hopping).
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Work Environment: This is an in-office role based in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with no remote work option.
Salary: $140,000 - $160,000 per year

Responsibilities:
- Acquisition Integration & Strategic HR Planning:
- Lead HR strategy during acquisitions, including integration and change management.
- Design and execute succession planning initiatives to align with organizational growth.
- Employee Retention & Culture Development:
- Build and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention.
- Foster a corporate, polished company culture that values diversity, inclusion, and growth.
- HR Legal Compliance & Payroll:
- Ensure multi-state compliance with HR laws and regulations, including payroll.
- Oversee payroll using ADP and evaluate the feasibility of transitioning to in-house payroll and benefits management.
- Private Equity Partnership:
- Collaborate with PE partners, presenting updates on HR initiatives and aligning with mid-market objectives.
- Advocate for the importance of HR leadership in achieving organizational success.
- Benefits Administration & Negotiation:
- Partner with brokers to negotiate and manage employee benefits, ensuring cost-effectiveness and competitiveness.
