This is not a remote role. It is an office role based out of Albany, NY.
Reporting Relationship: This position will report to the Sr. HR Manager within the Tim Tebow Foundation.
Job brief: We are looking for a warm, experienced individual passionate about using their recruiting or HR background to strengthen the recruiting process of a ministry intent on impacting some of the world’s most vulnerable people. The ideal candidate will be filled up by collaborating to maintain and improve complete talent pipeline, hiring process, and how it affects the foundation’s goals, objectives, and HR processes. They will utilize active listening and communication skills to accomplish recruiting with the employer brand and mission at top of mind. This role is heavy on recruiting, but will have the ability to impact HR processes throughout Her Song.
Responsibilities:
- Refine and implement recruiting systems and processes
- Maintain currency on best-practices within the HR space
- Research, recommend changes, educate hiring managers
- Prepare and present updated processes
- Prepare standardized job descriptions in collaboration with department leadership
- Create and manage job postings
- Maintain relationship with recruitment agencies
- Manage the hiring process, including the initial vetting of candidates and background and reference checks
- Collaborate with Employee Experience Coordinator to improve the transition from candidate to employee
- Collaborate with HR team on developing internship program
- Cold outreach on LinkedIn to deepen candidate pool
- Assist in reducing employee turnover by ensuring candidates are informed of details around expectations, employee development opportunities, benefits, etc.
- Collaborate with Sr. HR Manager to develop automated processes to measure metrics
- Collaborate with Employee Experience Coordinator to meld HR processes and engagement between different entities, locations, and remote team members
- Streamline recruiting processes to ensure an improved experience flowing from first impression past exiting from foundation; this will be a joint effort with all HR team members
- Liaison between HR and onsite insurance offerings, understand full offerings to ensure employees are partaking in any plans that would be most beneficial
- Complete OSHA forms 500 & 500A, ensure compliance with OSHA, and collaborate to develop health & safety trainings
- Ensure human resource-related legal compliance (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, NLRA, OSHA, all DOL laws, etc)
- Special projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in recruiting or HR role
- aPHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
- Knowledge of federal and state specific regulations
- Exemplary planning and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
