Your role

As an HR Generalist, you will support employees' needs and collaborate with leaders to implement effective talent strategies and programs, ensuring employees have the resources and support needed to excel in their roles. You will build deep, trusted relationships that allow you to foster a high-performing and engaged workforce and have a lasting impact on the organization and team. You'll work closely with the Sr. HRBPs to align talent strategies with organizational goals.

You'll work three times per week out of our downtown Austin, TX office—a vibrant hub where collaboration thrives. Dialpad's hub offices are designed to inspire teamwork and innovation, providing a dynamic work environment where you can contribute to impactful projects, build meaningful connections with cross-functional teams, and accelerate your professional growth in our learning-driven culture. Remote candidates will not be considered.

What you'll do

  • Build strong relationships and become a trusted advisor.
  • Supports employees by providing HR guidance on policies and procedures when appropriate.
  • Partners with managers and employees to understand employee relations challenges and facilitate resolution.
  • Works with assigned organizations to ensure HR initiatives are well understood and implemented.
  • Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions, etc.).
  • Lead new hire onboarding sessions.
  • Administers programs related to company initiatives as well as organization-specific programs.
  • Partner with People Experience teams (i.e., Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Total Rewards, People Operations) to develop and implement talent management and employee engagement programs, including conducting training sessions.
  • Partner with the business to facilitate talent reviews focused on employee growth and development and organizational health priorities.
  • Provide support to Sr HRBPs on programs and initiatives for assigned organization.
  • Provide compensation guidance to leaders for salary actions, including the annual salary review, promotions, and job re-leveling situations.
  • Foster, support, and deliver world-class employee experiences.
  • Develop an understanding of key business objectives (OKRs), key performance indicators, and analyze trends to inform better programs and policies for each organization.
  • Review and analyze business metrics (retention and engagement) with business leaders.
  • Contribute to various cross-team and/or cross-organizational HR projects.

Skills you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience with specific expertise in performance management, compensation guidance, and employee relations for high-growth technology companies.
  • Previous experience working in a SaaS company preferred, ideally supporting Go-To-Market and G&A teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn business objectives quickly and influence talent and org decisions that impact business outcomes.
  • A self-motivated and results-oriented individual who consistently exhibits optimism, empathy, adaptability, persistence, and accountability.
  • Strong knowledge of local legal requirements related to the day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Strong G-Suite skills, including building Google Slides presentations.
  • Strong program management skills.
  • Demonstrated resourcefulness and problem-solving skills, consistently finding solutions and answers, even under challenging circumstances with limited information.
  • Proficient analytical skills with the ability to take direct ownership of interpreting data and using data to recommend solutions and influence decision-making.
  • Experience building trusted relationships across the HR function, executives, managers, and employees.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on tact and diplomacy.
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and personal responsibility.
