Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 (depending on experience)

Job Summary:
As the Human Resources Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our growth by overseeing payroll, employee relations, and benefits for the company. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with hands-on HRIS experience and a passion for creating a positive, productive work environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving organization and can effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Management: Accurately process bi-weekly payroll for various business units, including hourly, salary, and commission-only employees across multiple states.
  • HRIS Administration: Maintain and update employee records within Paylocity HRIS, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Employee Support: Provide administrative support for HR functions such as leaves of absence, separations, and offboarding processes.
  • Benefits Administration: Manage and support health, life insurance, and other employee benefits programs.
  • Recruiting Support: Assist with recruiting efforts, ensuring smooth onboarding processes.
  • Organizational Development: Maintain organizational charts and develop comprehensive job descriptions to align with company needs and growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR and payroll experience, with hands-on expertise in HRIS (Paylocity experience a plus).
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Proven multitasking abilities with a strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-service oriented approach.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment, particularly in a smaller office setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience in the home services industry (HVAC, Plumbing, Roofing, Pest, etc.) is preferred but not required.
