Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 (depending on experience)

Job Summary:
As the Human Resources Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our growth by overseeing payroll, employee relations, and benefits for the company. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with hands-on HRIS experience and a passion for creating a positive, productive work environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving organization and can effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Management: Accurately process bi-weekly payroll for various business units, including hourly, salary, and commission-only employees across multiple states.
- HRIS Administration: Maintain and update employee records within Paylocity HRIS, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Employee Support: Provide administrative support for HR functions such as leaves of absence, separations, and offboarding processes.
- Benefits Administration: Manage and support health, life insurance, and other employee benefits programs.
- Recruiting Support: Assist with recruiting efforts, ensuring smooth onboarding processes.
- Organizational Development: Maintain organizational charts and develop comprehensive job descriptions to align with company needs and growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR and payroll experience, with hands-on expertise in HRIS (Paylocity experience a plus).
- Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Proven multitasking abilities with a strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-service oriented approach.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment, particularly in a smaller office setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience in the home services industry (HVAC, Plumbing, Roofing, Pest, etc.) is preferred but not required.
