We are offering a contract for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant position in Galveston, Texas. The role involves supporting HR processes by managing records and information and providing clerical assistance to the HR department.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the organization and maintenance of HR records and information
• Conduct orientation sessions to welcome new team members
• Assist in the implementation of HR procedures in line with company policies
• Provide administrative support to the HR team
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• Facilitate background checks for potential employees
• Assist in auditing to maintain HR compliance
• Utilize HRMS, ADP Workforce Now, and Ceridian systems for HR processes
• Manage benefit functions as part of HR responsibilities
• Deliver excellent customer service in response to employee inquiries• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is required
• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is a must
• Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is essential
• Experience in using Ceridian is needed
• Mastery in HRMS is crucial
• Familiarity with About Time software is beneficial
• Strong auditing skills are required
• Experience in conducting background checks is necessary
• Knowledge in handling benefit functions is essential
• Excellent customer service skills are a must
