We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant in Purchase, New York. This role involves supporting our HR department with various tasks related to hiring, maintaining records, and facilitating communication. You will be a part of a team that interfaces with numerous managers nationwide and handles a significant volume of applications weekly.

Responsibilities:
• Facilitate the hiring process by handling tasks such as processing employment applications, conducting DMV checks, and executing background checks.
• Provide excellent customer service to managers and potential employees throughout the hiring process.
• Manage a significant workload confidently and efficiently.
• Utilize Office Suite to maintain accurate records and perform tasks.
• Employ various HRMS systems, such as ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, and About Time for effective HR management.
• Conduct auditing and benefit functions as required.
• Ensure a smooth transition for new hires by assisting with onboarding processes.
• Support the HR department with any additional tasks as needed.• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services is necessary
• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now is required
• Knowledge in ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is expected
• Experience with Ceridian is a must
• Ability to work with HRMS is crucial
• Proficiency in About Time is necessary
• Strong auditing skills are required
• Experience in conducting background checks is essential
• Knowledge of benefit functions is expected
• Excellent customer service skills are a must
