We are searching for an adept Human Resources (HR) Generalist to become part of our team located in Newport News, Virginia. As an HR Generalist, you will be entrusted with the task of managing healthcare audits, creating and implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring adherence to regulations. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee healthcare audits specifically related to Medicare and Medicaid services
• Develop, revise, and execute policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency
• Ensure adherence to governing regulations within the healthcare industry
• Act as a point of contact for employees and management regarding HR policies and procedures
• Monitor and manage employee relations issues within the organization
• Assist with the implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
• Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare regulations, industry trends, and best HR practices to ensure regulatory compliance.• Proficiency in Health Care Audits, with a particular focus on Medicare and Medicaid
• Comprehensive understanding of Regulation Governing
• Demonstrated ability to create, implement, and maintain Policies and Procedures
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar HR Generalist role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of labor laws and employment legislation
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proven track record in conflict resolution and employee relations
• Detail oriented in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred
