About the Role:
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Senior HR Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in growing our business by fostering strong client relationships and identifying new opportunities to enhance our service offerings.
The ideal candidate possesses extensive HR expertise, outstanding consulting abilities, and a strong commitment to delivering customized, value-driven solutions that surpass client expectations. In this role, you will offer comprehensive HR support to organizations across diverse industries and sizes, helping clients navigate and succeed in today's dynamic workforce environment.
What You'll Do:
Strategic HR Partnership:
- Serve as the primary HR point of contact for an assigned portfolio of clients.
- Provide proactive support, including handling employee relations, conducting investigations, offering management coaching and counseling, and designing and implementing performance management systems.
- Assist in the development and interpretation of HR policies, benefit plan design, compensation strategies, and employee training and development.
Business Development:
- Identify opportunities to expand service offerings within existing client accounts and prospective clients.
- Drive revenue growth by fostering strong client relationships and providing value-added solutions.
- Develop and deliver engaging webinars and conduct speaking engagements for clients and prospects.
HR Project Management:
- Design, lead, and implement HR projects, such as workforce planning, organizational design, performance management, and HR process improvement initiatives.
Compliance:
- Provide expert guidance on HR best practices, compliance, and risk mitigation.
- Support clients in addressing complex HR challenges and improving business outcomes.
- Ensure clients comply with changes in employment-related legislation and regulations.
- Create and update employee handbooks based on industry best practices.
Collaboration & Problem-Solving:
- Partner with internal Payroll and HR Operations teams to resolve HR-related challenges for clients.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources (Master's degree a plus)
- 10+ years of experience as a HR Consultant or HR Business Partner with a focus on consulting and project-based work
- HR certification SPHR/PHR, SHRM-SCP/CP
- Strategic thinker with the eagerness to grow the business and a passion for HR
- Strong understanding of HR compliance requirements
- Must have computer proficiency with MS Office, HCM and cloud-based programs
- High energy - enjoying lots of action, change, and challenging assignments
- Previous experience in a consulting role for small to mid-sized company's strong preferred
