PrideStaff Columbus East is looking to hire an experienced HR Representative for an east side manufacturing company who has been around for over 50 years! The HR Representative position is a great fit for anyone who is a motivated and organized self-starter looking to earn SEMI-ANNUAL BONUSES!

Hours: 8am-5pm (Mon - Fri)

HR Representative Duties:

• Performs &/or assist with all aspects of HR, including but not limited to, compensation, benefits & leave; disciplinary matters, performance and recognition and employee morale; weekly payroll & attendance; administers FMLA, STD, unemployment, worker’s compensation, and correspondence.
• Works closely with Director of Finance and Director of Operations to ensure the company’s operational and personnel objectives align.
• Leads the hiring process for hourly production employees, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
• Maintains up to date and accurate personnel files.
• Assists with the review of relevant policies to ensure compliance and alignment with industry standards and best practices.
• Maintaining FMLA, BWC, among other compliance and regulatory data records throughout life cycle ensuring accurate & up to date documentation.
• Plans and organizes company team member activities.
• Additional duties include some general office duties.

HR Representative Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of: FMLA, BWC, and Unemployment
• Payroll experience using a Third-Party (ex. Paycom or other payroll applications) required
• Knowledge of IBM iSeries/AS400 operating system a plus, but not required.
• MS Office experience required, specifically Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional presentation & communication.
• General Math & Accounting Skills.
• Must be highly organized, self dependent & possess great attention to detail.
