Position Summary
This is a key leadership role responsible for driving the development, implementation, and management of the HR Strategy and Operations, including shared HR services across the enterprise including payroll and HR systems. This position ensures the delivery of scalable, efficient, and high-quality HR operations while aligning with the company's strategic objectives to create a streamlined and elevated employee experience. The VP will oversee teams focused on HR operations, payroll, HRIS, and compliance.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Support the CHRO with establishing the HR strategy aligned to the business strategy and help execute quarterly business review to manage and adjust throughout the year.
- Develop and execute a strategic vision for HR Strategy and Operations, including shared services that supports organizational growth and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with HR leadership team to align HR services with business goals and ensure a seamless employee experience.
- Establish KPI's to measure the effectiveness of HR shared services.
- Create and maintain service level agreements with enterprise HR teams and employees.
- Serve as the HR liaison to the enterprise PMO; manage the HR portfolio and partner with the HRLT to ensure adoption of PMO technology and processes.
HR Systems
- Partner with VP of Digital Applications for technology selection, design, development, implementation, operational transition, maintenance, and adoption of HR technologies.
- Create and operationalize a technology roadmap to enhance service delivery and analytics for HR.
- Provide insights and data-driven recommendations to HR leaders for informed decision making.
- Leverage existing platforms to their full capability (for example, Workday) to serve the business and employee needs.
Payroll
- Responsible for global payroll (including U.S. and Canada, along with oversight of 3rd party providers for other countries). This includes multi-state and unions.
- Ensures timely, accurate, payroll processing and delivery.
Operations and Process Optimization
- Inventory and document HR processes and establish a roadmap to optimize, streamline or automate. Maintain HR process framework and align COE processes accordingly.
- Oversee day-to day HR operations to drive standardization and automation of processes to improve efficiency and service delivery.
- Design and deliver shared services that enhance the employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Act as a champion for inclusion and diversity in HR practices, policies, and delivery of HR services.
Compliance
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
- Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and guidelines to mitigate organizational risks.
- Provides tools and process expectations for HR users and audits for compliance (i.e., I-9's, required government postings, etc.).

Education and Skills Required
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (required).
- Master's degree in human resources, Business, or related field (preferred).
Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience in strategic HR management, HR operations, and technology.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment, with a focus on operational efficiency and outcomes.
Travel Requirements
- Travel anticipated approximately 10%
