School Psychologist
Location: Hookerton, NC

Position Overview:
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and qualified School Psychologist to support students in the Hookerton, NC, school district. The ideal candidate will provide prehensive psychological services, including assessments, consultations, and interventions, to help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments to identify academic, emotional, and behavioral needs of students.
  • Develop and implement intervention plans to address students needs.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create supportive learning environments.
  • Participate in the development and review of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
  • Offer crisis intervention and conflict resolution services as needed.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of behavior management programs.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure pliance with state and federal regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid North Carolina School Psychologist license or eligibility for licensure.
  • Knowledge of state and federal special education laws and guidelines.
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Excellent organizational, munication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a K-12 school setting.
  • Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI).
  • Knowledge of social-emotional learning (SEL) strategies.
