Exodus HR is hiring a Human Resources Coordinator in Nashville, TN! The HR Coordinator will work directly with our clients as a provider of HR services including employee and manager training, issue resolution, compliance guidance, and writing policies. This person coordinates with our payroll, benefits, tax/accounting, and IT teams to ensure an excellent client experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate client open enrollments.
- Deliver Supervisor and Employee Human Resource Compliance Trainings and Seminars.
- Learn and use the UKG (HR/payroll) portal to assist client.
- Develop Job Descriptions.
- Develop Employee Handbooks.
- Develop a well-defined strategy for recruiting new employees by assisting with employment branding, competitive salary range, job descriptions, company recruiting culture, hiring sources, etc.
- Perform new client company orientations and new client benefits enrollments.
- Assist Clients with Employee Issues and Regulatory Compliance with assistance from the Human Resource Director.
- Respond to unemployment claims.
- This position is not a remote/work from home position. In office is required.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
- Must be able to keep up-to-date and comply with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements and advise clients when necessary.
- Ability to deal professionally, courteously, and efficiently with clients and employees who have questions or problems and maintain a consistent and positive customer service image as well as a high level of patience and understanding when interacting with clients and employees.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently. Must be organized and have effective time management skills.
- Follow through is a must.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- While performing the duties of this job, you will be regularly required to see, talk and hear.
- Will be frequently be required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to handle, feel, reach with hands and arms; and stoop or kneel.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
- At times, could require more than 40 hours per week to perform the essential duties of the position.
- Fine hand manipulation (keyboarding).
- Travel required for customer visits; new and existing business. The percentage of travel time varies according to new clients and client needs.
EDUCATION/BACKGROUND
We require a Bachelor’s degree in HR and one year of prior experience in an HR setting where the majority of the work day is spent doing a variety of HR tasks. Must obtain a PHR or SPHR within one year of eligibility.
In lieu of Bachelor’s Degree in HR, we may consider four years of prior HR experience in an HR setting where the majority of the work day is spent doing a variety of HR tasks and a PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification. PHR or SPHR will be required within one year of eligibility.

EXODUS HR GROUP REQUIREMENTS:
Must obtain PHR Certification within one year, if not currently certified.
Background check will be required upon job offer.
Must become a member of a local HR Group and attend the monthly meeting.
Must communicate and consult with HR Director regarding any serious Client or Employee HR issues for resolution.
